Growing up rurally in the Wairarapa, I have always had a passion for an active and healthy lifestyle, which is what led me to my first degree, Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Sport & Exercise Nutrition at Otago University, graduating in 2019. However, I realised my true passion was in rehabilitation which drew me to studying Physiotherapy, graduating in 2023. I enjoy physiotherapy as it allows me to work with people from all backgrounds and provide an individualised holistic approach to a patients rehab journey. Yukino (Yuki) graduated from McMaster University in Canada in 2018 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. She further pursued higher education at the University of Western Ontario to obtain her Masters of Clinical Science in Advanced Healthcare Practice in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She's also been specializing in pelvic health physiotherapy for the last 6 years - a clientele that's too often underserved but does great with physiotherapy! Yuki uses research, hands on manual therapy, personalized exercise programming, and education to help you understand what's going on with your body and empower you to reach your individual goals and get you back to living your best life! Anna graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2016. Following this, she completed a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine in 2017 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy through the University of Otago in 2021, specialising in the female athlete. Anna has worked extensively with premier and representative level rugby teams, giving her a thorough understanding of acute injury management and sport specific rehabilitation. Anna has additional training in Pilates and dry needling, and has worked in both management and team leader roles prior to moving to Christchurch recently. Anna’s experience has seen her develop a special interest in sports physiotherapy and working alongside female athletes. She promotes a holistic approach to her clients’ rehabilitation, and enjoys working with anyone who is motivated to achieve their goals and get back to doing what they love.
