Karen has a varied and extensive 25 year career in sports massage that includes both human and equine specialist massage therapy. She was both horse and rider massage therapist for New Zealand's first ever World Championship Gold Medal in the sport of endurance riding in 1998 and then again at the 2000 Sydney Olympics with New Zealand's sole representative Dressage rider. Since then she has continued with massage therapy, alongside working for Air New Zealand, running a busy equestrian based property, and continuing to ride and compete herself alongside her husband and daughter.
Her unique mix of skills, training and and experience, as well as continuing to ride and compete, gives her a unique insight into patient needs and therapies. A core requirement of Olympic and World Championship team management is simply that, working as part of a team for the absolute best possible outcome. View details »
