Ihaia completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2024 at Otago University and has since made Hawkes Bay his home. Ihaia was born and raised in Christchurch, and has whakapapa to Ngati Maniapoto. Ihaia grew up with a passion for sports, particularly basketball, where he was able to play for a variety or teams, in both New Zealand and overseas. He was led to physiotherapy after his own injury experiences, and seeing how valuable it can be to have someone supportive in your corner throughout your rehab journey. Whether it’s recovering after an injury or enhancing physical performance, he aims to support his clients in the best way he can to reach their goals. Mr Lachlan Caudwell

Lachlan has completed 5 years study at Otago University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Bachelor of Physiotherapy before moving to Hawke’s Bay and hasn’t looked back. He has experience in private practice, working with people from all different walks of life, helping athletes at sports tournaments and looking after local premier rugby teams. Lachlan believes that an active lifestyle is a huge part of overall well-being. Practice what you preach they say! Lachlan has a keen interest in endurance sports from running, cycling (mountain biking and road) to swimming, as well as a bit of work in the gym on the side. As a Physio, being able to facilitate engagement in physical activity and helping people be gain confidence to move is something he finds very rewarding.
