Olivia officially joined the Active+ Mt Eden team in January 2023—but she’s no stranger around here! She spent her final year of study with us and worked as a physio assistant before stepping into her full-time physio role. Olivia is passionate about movement, motivation, and making rehab enjoyable. A keen Pilates advocate, she’s all about helping people recover from injury and empowering them to live healthier, more active lives. Whether it's through thoughtful exercise plans or encouraging conversations, Olivia brings energy and enthusiasm to every session. Outside the clinic, she’s most at home in the great outdoors, at the gym, or dancing in the crowd at a summer concert. If there’s movement and music, Olivia’s in! Mr Jeff McDonald
Physiotherapist
Jeff is from Canada. He moved to NZ in 2007 and he has worked for Active Plus since 2009. He studied his undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba graduating in 2004. He also has a certificate in Western Acupuncture (2006), a certificate in clinical mat pilates (2012) and is currently completing his Master's Degree in Sports Physiotherapy (Otago 2017). Jeff is also the physiotherapist for Eden rugby club reserve team and the West Auckland Admirals ice hockey team. His clinical areas of interest are sports physiotherapy, injury prevention, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation and acute and chronic pain management.
