Stuart trained at Otago University graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a post graduate certificate in Physiotherapy endorsed in Occupational Health Physiotherapy. He has a strong interest in vocational rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation, exercise prescription and sports rehabilitation. Stuart is currently the Physiotherapist with the Canterbury Rams and has previously provided physiotherapy for Canterbury Rugby and Canterbury Cricket . Ellen graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Originally from Christchurch, she is delighted to be based within her home town. Ellen has a particular interest in combining hands on treatment with gym/home based rehab, dry needling, and pre and post operative care amongst other things. Having previously worked in musculoskeletal clinics and in a private hospital setting, Ellen has experience in a range of conditions and is able to treat athletic and not so athletic populations. She is a firm believer in patients taking the reins for their injuries, and strives to provide good education so that her patients fully understand their conditions and can make informed choices regarding their treatment. Outside of work, Ellen has recently rediscovered her love of gardening and can be found most sunny weekends digging up her veggie patch. View details »

Ms Jeanette Gerrie

Ms Jeanette Gerrie

Senior Physiotherapist

Jeanette qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001, and a Bachelor of Physical Education (Honours in Exercise Physiology) in 1996, both from the University of Otago. She has worked in multidisciplinary practices and private musculoskeletal clinics for more than 20 years. She has a strong clinical interest in knee rehabilitation especially ACL post-operative rehabilitation, and functional biomechanics/overuse sporting injuries. She is heavily involved in the cycling community and coordinates a women’s mountain bike group ride with skills practice at the weekends. Jeanette has represented NZ in athletics (as a junior), and as an elite level mountain biker. She is also a former Coast to Coast winner and has an in-depth understanding of these sports and the mindset of an athlete. View details »
