Ms Zara Ellis

Ms Zara Ellis

Physiotherapist

I have always taken an interest in sports and healthy well-being, which led me to the career choice of becoming a physio. It has been a rewarding experience having worked with a range of sports teams and most recently working alongside Bucklands Beach Football Club. I love helping guide people in order for them to strive to achieve their rehab-specific goals. I am a dedicated and positive person who will always put my patients first. In my spare time, I love being outside exploring, on the soccer field or at the beach spending time with friends and family. Getting to work alongside such a supportive, outgoing and friendly team at The Rehab Co makes my job that much better. Qualifications: BHSc Physiotherapy, Dry Needling Certified. View details »

Nutritionist

I have always had a passion for sport and being able to combine that with supporting people to reach their goals through the food they eat really is a fulfilling role. I am lucky enough to have worked in a variety of settings and with a range of individuals from the everyday exercisers to the elite competitors. Being able to help individuals reach their performance goals not just in their sport but also in their day-to-day life is what I love to do. In my free time I love to keep active. You can find me exploring the great Kiwi outdoors, working out at a CrossFit class, heading out for a run, or learning how to surf. View details »

Mr Shane Gallogly

Mr Shane Gallogly

Physiotherapist

Hello I’m Shane, a Physiotherapist and Athletic Therapy graduate from County Meath, Ireland. I graduated from the MSc Physiotherapy programme at University College Cork in 2020. I worked for 2 years in an acute hospital in Ireland where I gained experience in several clinical areas including orthopaedics, MSK outpatients and care of the older person. I moved to Auckland 2 years ago where I have continued to pursue my interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working in private clinics and with local rugby teams. As a physio, I am very passionate in educating people around the complexities that come with pain & injury and helping them return to the things they love doing. I have a strong background in exercise-based rehabilitation, and I like to combine these rehabilitation skills with practical advice and manual therapy to help people achieve their goals and return to an optimal level of function. In the clinic, I love treating a wide range of sporting and life related injuries with a special interest in ACL rehabilitation and other post-surgical cases, tendon injuries and low back pain. Outside of work, I love staying active in my spare time. Alongside playing Gaelic football and running, my move to New Zealand as led to me taking up surfing, golf, tennis, AFL and squash. On weekends, I like hanging out with friends and going away on hiking/camping trips. View details »
