Mr Jacky Zeng

Mr Jacky Zeng

Physiotherapist

Jacky graduated from the University of Otago in 2022 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Since qualifying, he has worked in a musculoskeletal private practice in Wellington and most recently spent a season as a physiotherapist at a ski resort in Japan, providing injury management for skiers and snowboarders. Jacky has a strong passion for treating sports injuries, particularly knee and ankle injuries, after undergoing his own extensive ankle rehabilitation from playing competitive football. His background as a high-performance football athlete and his return to sport after chronic back pain in high school influenced his journey into physiotherapy. With this experience, Jacky has developed a detailed understanding of functional programming and rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals, helping them return to high-level sport or their pre-injury capacity. Jacky enjoys expanding his knowledge in physiotherapy, especially in sports injury management and rehabilitation. He has experience treating complex sporting injuries and takes a focused approach to rehabilitation, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive care to achieve their goals. Outside of work, Jacky makes the most of good weather and enjoys skiing, football, tennis, and weight training. View details »
