Jacky graduated from the University of Otago in 2022 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Since qualifying, he has worked in a musculoskeletal private practice in Wellington and most recently spent a season as a physiotherapist at a ski resort in Japan, providing injury management for skiers and snowboarders.
Jacky has a strong passion for treating sports injuries, particularly knee and ankle injuries, after undergoing his own extensive ankle
rehabilitation from playing competitive football. His background as a high-performance football athlete and his return to sport after chronic back pain in high school influenced his journey into physiotherapy. With this experience, Jacky has developed a detailed understanding of functional programming and rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals, helping them return to high-level sport or their pre-injury capacity.
Jacky enjoys expanding his knowledge in physiotherapy, especially in sports injury management and rehabilitation. He has experience treating complex sporting injuries and takes a focused approach to rehabilitation, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive care to achieve their goals.
